Shani Thomas

Hi! I’m Shani and I am honored to be True Light’s Children’s director. 

I grew up in Southern California where I volunteered with kids at church during highschool. I attended Corban University, where I graduated with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in Biblical studies. After teaching kindergarten for five years, I was able to stay home with my two boys. My husband is an airline pilot and I am a mother to Charlie (born in 2020) and Benjie (born in 2023). It is such a gift to be able to stay home with them and teach them about God. I love reading, gardening, spending time outside in God’s creation, and playing games with friends. 

As the children’s director I look forward to teaching children God’s word. The Bible makes it clear how important children are to the Lord, and that they are raised to know His Word. It is my prayer that God uses me to support True Light Church in reaching and teaching His children.
